Design (collaborating with http://thinkform.ca/) on a large older church complex, in a decaying/regenerating, TOD adjacent, North American downtown. Addressing a shrinking congregation to sustain the existing and negotiate change. Exercises culminating in both a proposal for revised car-parking (& even trade), & a shrinking of footprint, as well as the phased re-roofing of a key space with a, faceted engineered timber membrane to re-scale and offer a new kind of public and community intimacy. Temporary works being provided by an existing obsolete flat roof.
