An existing church in the small town of Acton Ontario, showed potential for re-use by the local chapter of Habitat, a housing non-profit. A scheme for several starter lofts, was designed. By inserting an additional floor level, five new units benefiting from a central location, generous proportions, modern services and good quality construction are proposed.
